Whitsunday Kyokushin dojos would like to say thanks to all those involved with making the "2021 All Australian Kyokushin Junior Karate Championships" Saturday 15th of June such a huge success.
With Eighty competitors traveling from Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Townsville, Mackay, Bowen, Cannonvale and Proserpine, and seeing all the five groups of Kyokushin (IKO, AKKA, Shin Kyokushin and Kyokushin Union dojos) it truly made for a fantastic day of Kumite and Kata.
All of you should feel very proud entering this tournament, whether you win or lose, everyone is a champion just competing on this mat today. I expect everyone here to show their respect for each other on the mat, and fight in the BUDO Kyokushin traditional style ; hard kumite. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all instructors from all dojos, your dedication and passion inspire students to achieve and to continue in their development in martial arts.
Special thanks to all our sponsors, without our sponsors it would be difficult to run this tournament and to have such lovely trophies in front of you today.
We greatly appreciate all the referees, judges and marshals who have put in time to come and help at tables, at the door, and also in the canteen today. Thank you very much for attending today. OSU.
